Dividend Tracking Spreadsheet




This spreadsheet will calculate out the market value, book value, % of portfolio, your annual dividend amount, average monthly amount, and the dividend yield of your portfolio. You just need to enter in the following information:

  1. Stock Ticker…..Ex. NWH.UN

  2. Quantity of shares…..Ex. 812

  3. Priced paid per share…..Ex. 9.45

  4. Current price (if you want to track market value)……Ex. 11.45

  5. Dividend amount ($ per share the company is paying)…..Ex. 0.07

  6. Lastly, you need to click on the corresponding annual amt cell, in this case K10 (circled in red), then check the equation at the top (circled in thick red), ensure the yellow highlighted number is either 12 (for dividends paid monthly) or 4 (for dividends paid quarterly).
